TOO MUCH TOO MUCH!!!
I doing homework and running errands today trying to cross things off my lists when I decided Target would be my next stop so I could buy a 2008 insert for my day planer. Lucky for me they didn't have anything so I nipped my planning obsession before it went any further. I did however come across a really cute spiral notebook thing " buttoned up CrossItOff.List". It's made by this company "buttoned up" that makes all of these organizational notebooks and filing binders. I got home, threw away my paper to-do list and started using my new book. So far, I like it! I would complete something and cross it off in the book and then delete it from my iCal list. feel quite organized.
My whiteboard calendar is done for February and only has things like birthdays, holidays, special work days, and special events/visits written on it. My iCal is pretty much the same but it's nice to have right on my computer together with my to-do list. The meal and exercise logs stay as they are because I need them to keep me on track. I also need them to keep encouraging me to stick with what I'm doing right now because it's working and feels killer! As far as the google calendar, I made it today and I'm not thinking I'll actually be using it so I guess that's all cool as well.
This morning I woke up to my alarm (yeah I set my alarm on a Sunday so I would wake up at a decent time and get things done), and immediately started to get things crossed off the lists. Tonight I am finishing up my homework, watching a little tv, and going to bed without feeling suffocated by all of my previous planning.
